Mission

For Haven’s Sake is a nonprofit organization focused on a child-advocacy ministry that partners compassionate people with orphaned and vulnerable children. Our goal is to show Jesus’ unconditional love by meeting these children’s basic needs: food, shelter, medical care, and education. We have chosen to partner with Haven Childrens’ Home in Kitale, Kenya, to live out this mission.

Your monthly donation of $35 goes 100% towards the children of For Haven’s Sake.  We are a volunteer based organization with no paid staff.  Everything you donate the children will receive.

You are needed to help change the lives of these children.  In Kenya $35 allows us to meet the nutritional needs of a child for an entire month while in the United States, families often spend more than that on just one meal of takeout food.

The Haven children each have their own story; most include abuse, neglect, abandonment, and disappointment. Through donations these children have found love, acceptance, family, and most importantly JESUS.

Child sponsors will receive a picture and profile of the child they choose.  We encourage sponsors to pray for their sponsored child; in turn the children will pray for their sponsors.  For Haven’s Sake considers every sponsorship and every donation, no matter the size, an answer to prayers and a gift from God.

Group sponsorship commitments are available and can be adjusted to meet each organizations’ budget; they assist with provisions for medical care, education fees, and building maintenance.  This type of sponsorship is great for Sunday school classes, businesses, organizations, or even a small group of friends.
